The allotments occupy a relatively sheltered but open site by the River Bride, and each individual plot measures ten metres by ten metres.
what’s growing
If you are taking on a previously unused plot, there will be grass, maybe nettles and docks, but nothing a bit of careful digging won’t get rid of.
the soil
The soil is deep, drains well, isn’t stony at all, and is easy to work. More or less a blank canvas.
